Classification of intelligence

The human brain is considered to be a very fascinating and powerful tool. The study of brain functions is considered by psychology. Intelligence or intellect is considered to be the comprehensive sum of a person's ability to learn, study, innovate, and solve problems. The study of intelligence is essential in the field of education, as it is used to monitor the academic progress of students and to prepare appropriate lesson plans for learning.

Classifications of intelligence:

Categories              IQ(Intelligence)

Genius                       140 and above

Highly intelligent         130 to 139

Intelligent                       120 to 129

Above average               110 to 119

Average                              99 to 99

Formula for determining intelligence:

Intelligence formula: IQ=MA ×100

                                             CA

Physical age: CA=MA ×100

                                IQ

Mental age: MA=IQ×CA

                                  100

Types of Intelligence Tests:

Intelligence test is a test that measures the intelligence of a child. To what extent his behavior is targeted and evaluated is called intelligence test.

It is generally divided into two types.

  • Individual Intelligence Test:

  • Group Intelligence Test

Intelligence plays a very important role in human society. An individual's intelligence is related to his wisdom, determination and creativity. But sometimes, when the intelligence is not enough to handle certain challenges, good public intelligence is needed. For this reason, two important aspects of individual and collective intelligence are developed.

Individual Intelligence Test:

Individual intelligence includes individual analysis, management skills, logical thinking, research spirit and autonomous decisions. Each person has his own unique form of intelligence. These are obtained from the person's experience, education, environment and life lessons.

Individual intelligence helps a person to emerge in art, science, literature and many creative fields. For example, Einstein or Dr. Kalam of the Aadhutan era have made significant contributions to the world through their individual intelligence. Such individuals develop new inventions and theories from their inner intelligence.

In fact, individuals with high individual intelligence can provide good answers to many problems. But sometimes, they are recognized within their own scope of vision, because it may necessarily be limited to their experience and understanding.

Collective Intelligence (Group Test):

Collective intelligence is the collective intelligence of a group or community. It is when members of a team, organization or community think together. Collective intelligence can help in solving complex problems effectively, because many sharp minds work together.

For example: When engineers, economists, management experts, and technologists discuss a big project, their collective intelligence results in a better plan. Social media, Wikipedia, and open source projects are good examples of collective intelligence.

Collective intelligence is born of cooperation, communication and mutual respect. This intelligence involves more energy in decisions and provides a broader perspective. But sometimes, the problem of groupthink can be a hindrance to collective intelligence, as everyone thinks the same way, which has a negative impact on creativity.

Coordination of the two intelligences:

The coordination of individual and collective intelligence is found to be the most effective. The individual intelligence of each person is most useful in a group, and when all the intelligences are used together, it enhances the potential of the group. Education, business, science, government, etc., give good results when this coordination is used. Individual intelligence helps in coming up with new ideas, but collective intelligence helps in implementing them. Due to this, together with both intelligences, excellence, cooperation and development are possible in our society. Intelligence is a very important part of the inner power of a human being. It is a combination of logical thinking, the ability to determine what is there and creativity. Intelligence helps in bringing growth, success and prosperity in an individual's life. Now, the demand for intelligence is increasing in all fields including science, technology, education, business, administration and literature. Individual intelligence strengthens the inner growth of an individual. It helps an individual to face the difficulties of life and grow within himself. Similarly, collective intelligence promotes cooperation, unity and mutual respect in a group, providing better solutions.
